Get Noticed On Google Part1
Ever wondered “how comes our site isnt on Google” , It’s a question asked by many individuals and small-business owners every day as they hunt for new clients online rather than Yellow Page directories. These days, if a company website can’t be found on Google, it basically doesn’t exist.
Optimising your website can be a lengthy process, but with the right skills your site can be noticed sooner than you think.
Websites need to be linked to from other quality websites. Every page should have a clear website title. And its important to include your desired search terms (called keywords) in order to articulate how you want to be discovered by the Google search bots.
Keywords direct the search engines on how to find you, and links are the holy grail. If a lot of sites link to you, that means you have authority and should be placed higher than others. Not just dozens of links though, they have to be of quality and importance also, importance is based on pagerank, but that’s something we will discuss in a later article.
Your sites content needs to be descriptive and strongly outline about you and your services whilst gently incorporating the one- or two-keyword phrases that you are concentrating on. Try to break your site up with some images too, making sure the alt and title tags are relevant to that image.
And of course your site needs to be submitted to the Google directory.

well, ive found getting noticed takes time, the content has to be fresh and the use of meta tags and such have to be accurate and relate to your site.

It seems to me that ‘getting onto Google’ is all about the quality of your content. If you write clear, interesting content, other sites will link to yours and boost your ranking higher.

Getting Google to list your site is relatively straightforward and Google gave us an excellent service. We attained a ranking rating of 2 within 4 months and gradually progressed to a 3 rating in under 18 months. Now for some reason Google has decided to broadcast to the world that our site ‘may harm your computer’ and they did not even have the decency to tell us before posting it on the net. Even after hours and hours of checking our site we cannot find anything BAD in there. Can you contact someone at Google, NO CHANCE.

Its not that hard to get on top of google searches. make sure that the content is relevent and make the TITLEs of the pages so that they would represent MAXIMUM what a user may use to get to your page!

We paid many thousands dollars to hire SEO for getting sweetsingles.com on top 10 for many keywords such as Asian dating, Asian girls, Asian women, Asian brides,Thai girls, Thai women, Thai ladies, Thai dating, Thai brides,..etc but still don’t see very good result. People told that The site, the ladies and the pictures are very good quality but the marketing is not good enough to have people know this site “sweetsingles.com “
